Raj Mandir Cinema
This isn't just a cinema — it's a cultural experience. Built in 1976, the meringue-shaped interiors, massive chandelier, and the excitement of watching a Bollywood movie with a full local crowd is something you won't forget. People clap during fight scenes, whistle during songs, and give standing ovations. Book tickets in advance (especially weekends) and go for an evening show. Even if you don't care about the movie, the architecture alone is worth the entry.
SMS Hospital
Rajasthan's largest government hospital, and honestly the go-to place for any medical emergency in Jaipur. Named after Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II. The OPD can get chaotic, but the emergency and trauma center are well-equipped. If you need medical attention while traveling, this is where most locals would direct you. Private rooms available for those who want them.
Jaipur Junction Railway Station
The main railway hub of the Pink City, and one of the prettier stations in India with its terracotta-pink facade. Connects Jaipur to Delhi (4-5 hours), Mumbai (12-14 hours), and everywhere in between. The metro station is directly connected via a covered walkway — super convenient. Platform 1 has decent food stalls, and the retiring rooms are surprisingly clean if you need a quick nap between trains.
Birla Mandir
Beautiful white marble temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Stunning architecture with intricate carvings.
